01.16Chicago Sky Get Number 2 Draft Pick
The Chicago Sky will have the number 2 draft pick in this year’s WNBA draft.
Sky’s potential picks obviously include Candace Parker, a Naperville native, who is said to be “the best player in women’s college basketball.”
It would be a great opportunity for the Sky to develop their team with such a great player. But, since the Sky have the number 2 draft pick and clearly Candace Parker is the number 1 (as it stands right now) we might not want to get our hopes set too high.
Other players at the top of the Sky’s list include Louisiana State center Sylvia Fowles and Stanford guard Candice Wiggins.
All three players have had great impact on women’s basketball and soon hopefully one of them will be wearing the baby blue.
